KSSH participates in the Conference organized by the EU-EZA-MOSZ “Fulfilling the European pillar of social rights for a framework of Minimum Wages at EU level, and its impact on the Western Balkans region”
The conference is being attended by Deputy President of KSSH, Mrs. Anisa Subashi.
This conference is being held online with the participation of Trade Unions and other social actors from EU and Southeast European countries, including the countries of the Western Balkans.
Mrs. Anisa Subashi in her interventions focused on Minimum Wage Strategies in EU countries, as well as the chances of introducing a single level of European minimum wage – Aspirations and efforts of this campaign in the region of the Western Balkans and especially in Albania where the campaign undertaken by KSSH was evidenced, for the increase of Wages in general and the Minimum Wage in particular.
The discussants brought European experiences and innovations as an example for the Western Balkans, and discussed: The impact of the #Covid19 pandemic on jobs, the labor market and the European Pillar of Social and Social Rights, and regional initiatives to raise the Minimum Wage.
