400 working women
10 garment companies
Through the ILO Project, financially supported by the Swedish Government, “Empowerment of Women against Covid-19”, in the textile, leather and footwear manufacturing/processing sector (garment):
400 laid-off women workers due to the Covid-19 pandemic have been selected to be paid in the amount of three minimum wages and social contributions (so far over half have received their payments and the process continues).
10 companies have been selected to provide technical and financial support for the implementation of occupational health and safety measures.
#KSSH continues to support its members, as well as companies where there are Collective Labor Bargaining to receive financial support to help facilitate and improve the working conditions of KSSH member employees.
