With the support of German Foundation “Friedrich Ebert Stiftung”, The Trade Unions Federation of Workers of Agriculture, Food, Forestry and Environment (FSBUPASH) organized a one day seminar at Mirdita Region with the participation of its members from: Rrëshen, Lezhë and Kurbin. 

In this seminar were invited members from agriculture sector from the municipals of these cities.  

The seminar was opened from Chairmen of Trade Union Council of Mirdita Region Mr. Kol Tushaj which after thanking all the participants made a description of the situation at Mirdita Region representing the trade union situation and especially at agricultural sector.

FSBUPASH President, Mrs. Imelda Kulari refers the topic: “Why we should be member at the trade union? The motivations and ways to be part of it”. She gave a general view at agricultural, environment, wood, fishing sectors and the poorness of this region, employment, economical situation, especially for the women and youth. Via her arguments and given leaflets she explained why we should be member of the trade union, its mission and motivation and why women and youth should be members as they are today the target groups with more problems and at the trade union they can find the solutions of their problems and so they can be represented.

Second topic was referred from Mr. Nikoll Doçi, Lector of KSSH, which gave a graphical view of the situation of working force in Albania, the difficulties of the employment, the employed number and number of members in the trade union in all Albanian territory, membership at private sector, especially at agricultural sector, etc.

In this seminar was appreciated the seriousness and active participation of the participants in the discussions made.
